All loyalty points earned within 30 days count toward a players Tier, and those earned 31-60 days ago are calculated on a sliding scale. This rolling 60-day window is unprecedented in an industry where most sites only count wagers made during a calendar month toward a player’s tier.
There are 10 total Tiers, with one additional Tier for the highest volume players, called Elite, which is invite-only. The first Tier will give you access to the Bonus Store, with later Tiers unlocking awards like the dedicated VIP manager and special gifts mentioned above. For perspective, to become a VIP, players must reach level 7, needing 5,200 Tier points. That works out to $52,000 in singles wagers during the allotted time frame, which isn’t too bad considering the rewards. Players that enjoy long-shot parlays can reach level 7 for a fraction of the wagers.
While you play, you will also be earning Bonus Store Points, which are the currency you’ll use in the bonus store to “purchase” things like 1X play through bonuses or Prize Wheel spins, with randomized rewards.
BetRivers makes it easy to check your loyalty level progress with a progress bar that is visible at all times while signed in.
Available software platforms
At BetRivers Indiana, you won’t be tied down to your desktop or laptop computer when you want to place a wager. Apart from being available via all of today’s popular web browsers, you can access the site from your iOS or Android mobile devices.
Fortunately, unlike other more restrictive states, Indiana sports bettors don’t need to travel to a physical casino in order to set up their accounts. You can sign up from anywhere in the world, but can only play if you are physically inside the Hoosier State.

Click on a game to dig deeper, with tons of alternate lines, game and player props found below the surface. It’s all neatly categorized and intuitive, which is impressive given the sheer number of wagers BetRivers offers.
Once you select a wager it’ll pop up on the sleekly designed Bet Slip. From there, players can choose whether they want to keep their bets separate, or link them together via parlays or round robins. Payouts and odds are clearly made clearly visible, and for parlays, the Teaser+ option will display if available. Once a bet is entered, players will be informed if it is accepted at full value or reduced stakes. Additionally, if the line changes, the bettor will be informed, and the wager will not be placed. We did experience some frustrations with live betting, often not getting the price we wanted due to server hangtime.
Also, the Bet Slip does partially obstruct the main betting board on desktop, but not so much that players can’t easily view both in tandem. Different story on mobile, where the screen real estate only allows players to view one or the other.
Speaking of mobile, BetRivers has you covered there – it currently offers a dedicated Android app, which can be downloaded directly through the BetRivers website.
There was a time when iOS users had to put in a little extra effort, due to Apple’s past restrictions on legal gambling apps. Back then, iPhone and iPad owners needed to use a workaround, which involved installing a separate geolocation app and accessing the website directly through the device’s mobile browser. But now, iPhone and iPad users can use the app without issue as your phone’s geolocation software works just fine. You will still be asked to allow the app to track your location, but aside from that, things run smoother now.
Banking at BetRivers Indiana
BetRivers was the first sportsbook to launch in Indiana, and the industry is still getting its footing, but already the company is offering quite a nice list of deposit options.
Here are the ways in which you can load your account in Indiana currently:
- Online Banking Transfer (ACH): Without a doubt the best way to deposit and withdraw, if your bank is listed as one of the options.

- Visa/MasterCard/Discover credit and debit: Use your credit or debit cards to load up money on the site. Note that some banks are skittish about processing online gambling payments, even though the industry is completely legal.
- Pay With Cash: Take cash to your local 7-Eleven convenience store and you will receive a slip with a confirmation code. Enter the code when you access your account and you will see the funds in your wallet.

Betting lines
The BetRivers sportsbook platform was built in-house by Rush Street Interactive, but it has partnered with sports tech provider Kambi to provide the odds. Kambi works not only with RSI properties like BetRivers but also with several other online sportsbooks in other legal sports betting states.
It should be noted that Kambi does allow operators to set their own pricing, so value does vary from Kambi site to Kambi site.
Lines on BetRivers Indiana are similar to those found on BetRivers’ sister Pennsylvania site, and on DraftKings Sportsbook (also powered by Kambi). However, we have noticed some discrepancies. While in some instances lines are slightly more favorable in Indiana, in other sports, Indiana prices are not quite as good.
For example, looking at college football matchups, we noticed that in many cases, while the spread and totals were the same on BetRivers PA and IN, money line odds were a bit worse for players than those in the Keystone State. Case in point: In an Auburn versus Arkansas contest, PA players were getting +650 on the Arkansas money line, while IN players got just +600. This is likely due to action bet on the games, but will usually not be this variable.
Other notables:
- NFL games mostly offer the standard -110/-110 point spreads and totals with the odd -109/-109 or -121/-103 type line mixed in.
- 18 cent lines were common for NBA, where 20 cents is the norm, making BetRivers sort of a higher-tier sportsbook for this market.
- In-game pricing was mediocre at best, nearly across the board, but no worse than what was found on DraftKings.
- Two- and three-leg parlay pricing was solid and above industry averages.
- Teaser pricing is great. Kambi sites incorporate an innovation called Teaser+, where individual game pricing via alternative spreads are used as the bases of payouts, and not parlay pricing. This works out to be a better deal for the customer.
Betting markets
Indiana sports bettors have their pick of upwards of 15 sports on BetRivers, which run the gamut from boxing to UFC to darts. Of course, all the major sports and leagues are represented, including NFL, MLB, NHL, and of course, the NBA. But BetRivers has no problem digging much deeper, with wagers on Euroleague B-ball games, KHL hockey games, and Canadian Football League all well-represented.
Admittedly, BetRivers Indiana does feature a few less options than its counterpart in Pennsylvania, but that is likely because state regulators haven’t approved as many sports for betting. Hopefully the list will continue to grow, but in the meantime, Snooker fans will have to wait.

Those who have never bet sports online might be shocked at the range of wagering options on the table at BetRivers. All the most popular and well-known bets are available (i.e. money line, totals, spreads, parlays, etc.), but a huge selection of prop bets and a few more exotic-type wagers await as well.
For example, drilling down into specific NFL matchups you’ll find dozens, if not hundreds of wagers touching on all aspects of the game. Want to bet on how many sacks the home team will make? There’s a bet for that. Think that a specific player will make the first touchdown in the game? There’s a wager for that too.
And the fun doesn’t stop when the game begins. You can continue to bet on the game depending on how things play out by making in-game wagers. This is something that is very hard to do at land-based sportsbooks, since the information changes so quickly. Websites and mobile devices, however, are perfectly suited for these types of bets.
BetRivers also offers a unique betting option called a Jackpot Parlay. As you probably know, parlays are essentially longshot bets that rarely pay out, but pay out big when they do hit. Jackpot parlays are similar to Quick Pick lottery tickets. Simply click the Jackpot Parlay tab and a prefilled bet slip will be presented to you. Betting one or two dollars could yield a return of hundreds of thousands of dollars in the off chance that all of the picks hit their target.
One other notable nuance is Teaser+, which function like traditional teasers, but use alternative line pricing as a base, instead of parlays. These are currently only available for select NFL (6-7 points) and NBA games (4-5 games), although at times, we couldn’t find any Teaser+ for NBA.
Early cash outs are also available, where players can withdraw their pregame wager at in-game prices (minus the juice of course). This is also only available for select games and markets.
About the French Lick Resort land-based sportsbook
While the company behind BetRivers operates several casinos throughout the Northeast, it doesn’t have a presence in Indiana. The operator is able to run its online book in the state due to a partnership it struck with French Lick Resort.
After sports betting was legalized in IN, French Lick built its own brick-and-mortar sportsbook, opening up to the public in September 2019. The book, which uses the same technology providers that power BetRivers, spans 3,000 feet and boasts seating for 100 guests.
