Colts Look For First Win Against Kansas City This Sunday Afternoon

Indianapolis hopes to rebound at home following their embarrassing shutout loss to the Jaguars.

The 2022-23 Indianapolis Colts are in desperate need of a win after starting their 2022-23 NFL regular season campaign off with a record of 0 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie.

“Matty Ice,” Treylon Burks, and crew will have that opportunity at hand this Sunday afternoon at 1:00 Eastern when they host the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Despite the Chiefs’ perceived strength, WynnBET Sportsbook Indiana currently has the Colts listed as only a +5.5 point underdog due to how the Colts might match-up favorably against some of Kansas City’s prime talent.

So far this season, the Colts have managed to produce the worst scoring offense (by total “Points For” statistics) of the entire NFL, and have been outscored by opponents 44-20 over their first two games.

Unlike the Colts’ Week 1 opener against the Houston Texans, there was no “miracle comeback” in Jacksonville this past week, as the Jaguars rolled to a decisive 24-0 win to keep Indianapolis from claiming a top spot in the AFC South.

As irony would have it, the Colts remain well-positioned to take over the top spot in the AFC South this coming week (if they can defeat the Chiefs) due to the division’s poor overall performance coming into Week 3.

AFC SOUTH STANDINGS (Entering Week 3)

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1)

Indianapolis Colts (0-1-1)

Houston Texans (0-1-1)

Tennessee Titans (0-2)

In all likelihood, the Colts will need to comfortably surpass their current “points per game” total of “10” in order to have any chance to compete with Kansas City. VegasInsider Odds currently have the Over/Under line for Sunday afternoon’s intra-conference game at 50.5 points heading into the weekend.

Other AFC Division matchups this Sunday include the Jaguars at Chargers, Texans at Bears, and the Titans vs. Raiders.

Notre Dame Begins Season With 1 Win And 2 Losses

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish got their first win of the season (and of Marcus Freeman’s head coaching career) last week when they bested the University of California Golden Bears by a final score of 24-17.

Notre Dame visits Chapel Hill this Saturday to take on the undefeated North Carolina Tar Heels. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30pm Eastern Time.

On October 8th, the Fighting Irish will don their recently revealed “Shamrock” uniforms against BYU in Las Vegas.

After that, Notre Dame will have two more “Top 25” teams remaining on its regular season schedule: versus the (#5) Clemson Tigers on November 5th and a season finale at (#7) USC on November 26th.

Because of their two losses to begin the season, the Fighting Irish are nowhere to be found in the latest Associated Press Top 25 College Football Poll.

Indiana online sports bettors are being offered a +2.5 point underdog line at BetMGM Sportsbook IN for Notre Dame against the Tar Heels this weekend.

Hoosiers Basketball Team Expected To Win Big Ten

Expectations in Bloomington are very high for the Indiana Hoosiers NCAA Division I men’s basketball program this year.

Although the Hoosiers basketball squad won’t begin regular season play until November, the team is already finding itself on the “Top 25” list in a number of preseason rankings polls.
