BetRivers Enters Partnership With Soccer Club Indy Eleven

BetRivers reached a multi-year agreement to become the official sports betting partner of Indy Eleven on Thursday, its first deal with a U.S.-based soccer club.

The operator is the third “Pillar Partner” of the club and will have exclusivity in sports betting for the length of the deal. BetRivers will have a sleeve logo on all Indy Eleven PUMA jerseys for the 2021 season and provide sponsorship of the 30-minute post-game show on all local television broadcasts. The deal also calls for “prominent signage and digital assets” and sponsorship of the opening segment of the weekly Soccer Saturday show heard on 93.5/107.5 The Fan.

“BetRivers.com is excited to be an official sports betting partner of Indy Eleven,” said Mattias Stetz, COO of RSI, which operates BetRivers.com, in a statement. “This partnership combines two organizations that share an unwavering commitment to excellence in providing sports fans with unparalleled experiences.”

Indy Eleven is in the United Soccer League Championship, which is the second tier of American soccer behind MLS. Indiana bettors are able to wager on USL regular-season games and the U.S. Open Cup, which is a domestic tournament involving multiple leagues.

“Since the legalization of sports betting in Indiana in late 2019, Indy Eleven has been extremely focused on finding a true partner to maximize what has become a pivotal area for growth in all corners of the sports industry,” explained Indy Eleven President and Chief Executive Officer Greg Stremlaw. “I want to thank BetRivers for the tremendous commitment they have shown to our club. We look forward to working with them in a myriad of ways beginning with the upcoming 2021 season.”

Indy Eleven, which will play its home games at Carroll Stadium on the IUPUI campus, opens its season Saturday on the road versus Birmingham Legion FC and plays its home opener May 8 against Sporting Kansas City II.
